Well Balanced Survival Game

Conan Exiles is one of the better survival games I've tried. I grabbed it on sale after looking at it a few times over the years. I kept trying newer survival titles and only just recently got around to trying Conan. With all the more poorly designed survival titles i've tried lately, playing this one felt like a breath of fresh air in some aspects.
- Progression is solid paced - Intensity is good, not too much nor too little - Crafting is meaningful but not overbearing - Exploration is pretty good, with npcs, hidden stuff - loot, buffs, gear and some quests - Basic dungeons can be tackled for a bit of challenge
There is a way to "beat" the game, which I appreciate. Clearing dungeons and having a few quests to do gives you things to focus on, rather than just being a "sandbox".
In general Conan Exiles is just really well balanced game, as far as the systems, progression, difficulty, food and water, fighting mechanics etc. It's not groundbreaking, but everything is done well enough to be fun. When picked up on sale it was great amount of fun value to money spent. If I get bored of the original map, i'm considering paying for the dlc map as well to check it out. We will see if I get to it I suppose.
